Tell them specifically what you need help with, and you may be surprised how quickly these chores get done. Do you need help with household tasks to free up time for studying and working? To do lists – Make lists of what needs to be accomplished, and then get the reward of checking them off as you finish one by one.

Don’t worry about what order you write them down until you feel satisfied that everything, or most things, are emptied out of your thoughts and put down on paper or on an electronic notepad.

However, you need time to regroup and help your physical body combat stress. You can also spend this time wisely by listening to books on tape, reading study materials or reassessing your to-do list.
Declutter – It may sound silly, but working in a cluttered environment actually decreases productivity and increases stress.
Set aside time each day to declutter. Delete unnecessary emails, clear off your workspace, get rid of junk mail. Carve out for yourself a clutter-free zone where you can work and learn.
Scheduling – Plan your days by assigning specific times to specific tasks and meetings. Stick to your deadlines as best you can by respecting your schedule and communicating to others that you respect their time as well.
Be realistic and careful not to overstuff your calendar. For every hour of expected time to complete a task, allow as much as 20 minutes for interruptions.
Work smarter not harder. There is a guideline that resembles a complicated math word problem known as the 80/20 Rule. This rule states that 80% of unfocused effort generates only 20% of results. The remaining 80% of results are achieved with only 20% of the effort.
