This post is for MBA students or MBA graduates interesting in pursuing a business analysis degree.
Here are some of the questions raised by MBA students or graduates
I am pursuing an MBA in software enterprise management and I want to know whether companies visit college campuses and hire freshers as business analysts or do they want only experienced business analysts?
Companies are looking for experienced IT Business Analysts or Domain Business Analysts.
If you do not have that much business analysis experience, then you need to find ways to learn and practice the basics of BA skill sets: confident communication and leadership, working knowledge of the IT field in general, requirements management, etc.
Even something as simple as volunteering at a local non-profit can give you experience in–initiative, leadership skills and prove your responsibility.
An in-depth knowledge of such basic programs as Microsoft Office Suite can help as well … which you may already have gained from your MBA program.
Companies want to see some skills and experience in potential business analyst hires having a proven ability to move the company forward.
