How Do I Become A Business Analyst

by The Business Analyst Boot Camp

Q. I graduated with an Information Technology degree and I am working in quality assurance in the software development industry

There is little interaction with the end-users.

How do I become a Business Analyst (gaining experience in requirements’ gathering, training)?

I have a job offer now, on business analysis, but their system was already developed late last year, so I was thinking the work would be quite diluted, since most of the time would be spent on end-user support and maintenance?

Or, if I accept the new position, I figure that it would be advantageous to start somewhere where the job scope is near what a BA does, and also gain specialized knowledge on a particular industry.Any opinions?

Any opportunity for experience is extremely valuable, as this will help you distinguish your career as a Business Analyst.
